during its bye week and gets ready for the annual trip down to Jacksonville. With a
conference record of 4-1 they’ll meet a Florida team reeling after three straight losses.

Scott opens things up by asking about today’s practice. Richt – goes over this week’s
schedule: practiced in full pads today, again tomorrow and then basically two dress
rehearsals. Trying to get everybody fresh, excited about hitting somebody. Team got off
Friday – Sunday. Today wasn’t too sharp, but was about what you’d expect. Everybody
came back from the off weekend intact.

Scott – Florida week brings a different atmosphere to the table. Richt – we need to treat
this game like any other game. It’s important to us to stay at the top of the East. We’ve
lost control of that some after the early loss to SC, but we know we still stand a good
chance of going to Atlanta if we keep winning. So this game is important.

Mike in Columbus spends some time comparing Richt’s rise to 100 wins to his
predecessors. Also corrects a previous caller on the size of the offensive line. Then closes
with his latest prediction: (with no personal fouls on Saturday and a good game in the
red zone) we beat Florida, then SC loses two more games (one to Arkansas and one to
Florida), we win the East and CMR is named SEC Coach of the Year. Then we sign him
to a 10 year contract at 30 million a year. Richt – (laughs) “God Bless America” and says
he is a big Mike fan.

Lance from Uvalda says CMR is the first coach since Dooley to beat the Gators at least
twice in his tenure. Richt – It needs to be better than that “I can promise ya”. Lance also
would like CMR to tell Ogletree to please hit somebody. Then asks if Georgia is t
